Part 2 of my mental health journey is about the people who feel our struggles even when we don’t talk about them—family.

This video is about mental health stigma — the silence, embarrassment, and fear that keep people from talking about what they’re really going through.

In this episode, I talk about something I struggled with for years: finding my passion. I used to believe that happiness was just one new job away. If I could just change careers, change pace, or change direction, everything would fall into place. But it never did.

Part 3 I talk about veterans, depression, suicide, and the moment I realized how many of my closest friends were silently struggling too. I also share guidance from the VA on how we talk about suicide — why language matters, and how responsible conversation can reduce stigma and encourage people to seek help.

Part 1 is about taking responsibility, admitting what wasn’t working, and choosing a different path. If you’re on your own journey, I hope this helps you feel seen.
