Russ Clark has lived an entire human life.

Vietnam is part of his story, but there is so much more there.

Russ is a Marine Corps veteran who served as an infantry officer in Vietnam. In this conversation, we talk about war, leadership, grief, anger, PTSD, alcoholism and recovery, faith, ministry, family, and what Russ has learned through a lifetime of experience.

Today, Russ serves as chaplain for DAV Capital City Chapter #3 in Columbus, Ohio. He has also spent decades working with veterans through Point Man Ministries of Central Ohio, helping veterans deal with the effects of war and find their way forward.

This interview is only a portion of Russ Clark’s story. I am grateful he trusted me enough to sit down, answer my questions, and share some of his life with me. More than anything, I hope Russ felt listened to. Russ, thank you for trusting me with your story.
